A Personal Note From Dr. Hecht:
I am delighted that you have chosen to investigate the possibility of my participation in the most important day in your life - Your Wedding!
I feel that each time I am able to participate in a couple's wedding day,
I am given a "Gift From God"
I have studied about most of the Great World Religions, and have a sensitivity to all expressions of Religious Belief. It is my practice to perform a beautiful Non-Denominational Wedding Ceremony, taking into consideration information that a couple has shared with me during our initial pre-marital conversation(s).
My years of work in Marriage & Family counseling enable me to understand the subtle dynamics that go on in a relationship, and to focus on areas that I have found to be important in marriage. I do not "preach" or "quote Scripture" in a wedding ceremony, I do make every effort to help a couple "relax" on their wedding day and trust that their ceremony will be the most beautiful ever! I feel that it is imperative for each partner in a relationship to feel good about themselves, to feel good about their spouse and to feel good about the decision they have made to spend the rest of their lives together!
